When to renew

The renewal request is filed during the last year of validity. An additional 9-month grace period after expiration is allowed with payment of additional fees (Art. 211(2)).

How much it costs

Standard fee ~15,000 MKD; grace fee ~7,500 MKD on top.

How to renew

Form TM-3, proof of payment; foreign applicants file through a registered representative.

What happens if you miss the deadline

If you miss the grace period the mark is removed from the register and you must file a new application with a new priority date.

Portfolio management tips

• Set the renewal date in a CRM or reminder system.
• Renew 3–6 months ahead of expiration.
• Use the renewal to clean up the Nice Classification specification.
